New To All This

Well after 7 new Peugeots I finally changed to a Fabia vRS, only had it since 25.10.03. I tried one for 3 days before I took the plunge, nearly had to wait until Jan for it, unless I wanted yellow, which I certainly didn't, I think I'm a bit to old for yellow. So its red, with xenons, cruise, & 6 CD. Well chuffed with it up to now, although only got 350 miles on the clock as yet.

Welcome to Briskoda, Neil!!

Welcome there, Neil - All these new members piling in must be pushing the membership total toward 1000?

I just looked and we're only 11 short... :D

Ah, another Lancs member... :D

WOOHOO!! :D

Welcome! :D

The fabia invasion continues apace.......;)

Neo - every time my colleague with the TT boasts about his driving at the weekend around the office, I remind him (and others :D) about the diesel skoda that sat on his tail all day! :D

I'm sure there's got to be better places to drive! :p

 now cut that out! :D

Well anywhere is better that thwe drivers hell that is East London and Essex, every two miles or so theres a bloody speed camera or filth radar check, how am i supposed so shut up pilloks in their clios and saxos in my vRS Fabia?

im really dissapointed in the TTs performance. fair enough he would slightly pull away on long straights.. but at the beginning of the drive though id bitten off more than i could chew.. being at least 100bhp down on the other runners in my group, driving a diesel and only 2 driven wheels. but i stuck to his rear bumper in the corners, and pretty much on the straights too. me mate was saying.. "typical posers car" and typical posers driving it.. the way they were beeping at anything in a skirt walking down the road..

:D

hope this TT owner will be at the next drive out ;)

EDIT. just had a thought.. am i the only furby vRS owner without Xenons?! :(

No I wanted them on mine but the wait would have been too long, the direct replacement xenon effect bulbs are good though

He'd only had the car a week to be fair, we'll see if he improves on the next run :D

Welcome Chap, get mine on Saturday, same spec just Silver ;)

Welcome Neil:D

and id only had that car 3 weeks!.. and with only 1 week of being able to give it some welly :)

we shall see on the next meet :D

I picked my Fabia up this week. Loving it, trouble is the missus has got hold of it now..damn.

I've not got xenons on mine - same reason as Rooboy, would have had to wait another three weeks for the car.

I'm not impressed with the TT as a driver's car, anyway. I took a colleague's for a drive the other day, and apart from the fact that at 6' 3" I could barely fit into the thing -I had to recline the seat right back -it just didn't feel that fast (it's a 180) or that sharp. I think a Vrs feels a lot faster and more responsive.

TT. Nice to look at, but you don't want to drive it far!

Phil

Welcome to Briskoda. Yet another vRS Furby owner with Xenons! Seems they are catching on more than Skoda had realised they would! :D
