the above statement is true about "turning my pc off" (this is not a childish remark is it? i was called a tool. i never complained, not because he was right but just couldn't be bothered to argue against his case). I can put down my opinions in writing rather than having them stored in my mind. that is the best thing about the internet you can express your opinions, and if no one agrees then so what. that is what forums are set up for? people to express opinions.

theres a difference between education and humour, it has become apparent to me that you would not notice this difference even if it leapt out infront of you and danced the bolero.

Yes it is true about turning off your PC, and yes it is childish. I have noticed a remark you so maturely added to one of your posts using the phrase "2pence sl**s" - you can quite happily sit behind your monitor tapping away and calling me all the names under the sun, when you infact don't know anything about me and are in no such position to make these remarks. How about you come down to the next Skoda meet and tell me what you think of me to my face? or is that too much for you because you can't 'turn me off' and walk away looking the big man?

FFs man, nobody dislikes your opinions, most ppl dont care. The point is, that the posters in this thread have disagreed with your ill informed view on cruises. No cruising actually takes place. people from your typical charv, to a disabled man in his fifties, with an audi rs6 attend these things. As Mike has explained to your deaf cyber ears, poeple from all walks of life turn up. It's entertainment. You clearly gain entertainment from having a narrow minded aspect on things and poeple you have no knowledge about.

Well IMO i feel that there is nothing wrong with cruising,i've attended lots in the past and i'm sure i'll carry on attending them until i get to the point where i feel i'm getting too old for it,but until that day i'll just carry on having fun looking at other modified cars and chatting to people with the same interests as me.

I'm sure lots of people feel that those who attend cruises are c h a v s but this isn't the case really,i'm sure there are some there but most are just genuine car enthusiasts who choose to spend lots of money on there cars to make them stand out and then they can attend these events to show off there car to others,which some may think is sad but IMO i would rather see someone spend there money on there car and have something to show for it (even if its not very tasteful) rather than watching them throw it away on drink/drugs on a weekend.

cruising has been about since around the 50's i would assume cos in films like Grease people attended diners in there hot rods which the equivlent nowadays is modified cars meeting up at macdonalds,yes some like shifty decide to do burnouts which doesn't really do anything for me but if he wants to then thats up to him,i don't judge him as been irresponsible for doing so as i would think just about everyone is guilty of doing wheelspins or handbrake turns at some point in there life and yes it could be dangerous if someone lost control of there car but most people who attend these events are more than aware of the risks

I must admit' date=' putting the insults aside, this thread has been somewhat entertaining. i would, however, like to apologise in advance to the mods and admin for posting that pic with the naughty word in it and beg the mods to be kind in whatever disciplinary action they should choose. Please bear in mind I was provoked with some rather nasty and personal name calling and I would have deleted the picture once it had had it's desired effect but alas, someone has quoted it rendering me unable to remove it from the boards. (thanks day tripper!!) I acted in a moment of anger and upset and now I have calmed down I feel the need to apologise for side-stepping the language filters!
