Right....

Steve

It is perfectly safe.

Its not a waste of time at all. You meet new people, learn new things, have a laugh, catch up with people, see some awesome cars and have a good chin wag.

Id rather be at a good cruise than be sat at home on the weekend watching x factor or some other mind numming programme.

It is much cheaper than going to town for a night out, wasting your money on booze, paying to put your jacket in a cloak room, queueing outside in the cold, queueing at the bar to get a drink and when you get there you pay through your nose.

As for fine girls, there a bonus. A hole's a goal.

 left or right? (I for one, assumed you were either / or)

I'm on the right, my mate kelly is on the left! lol! (when looking at the pic anyway, I'm on shifty's left and kel is on his right! ;) )

Wardy - I wouldn't mind but you saw me earlier on the very same day at cat and fiddle!!!

and say what you want about me, but kelly isn't ugly :(

and say what you want about me, but kelly isn't ugly :(
Aye, you got her number? :sofahide:

I was gonna say Kelly looks to be putting more effort in. ;) Maybe thats just the timing of the camera shot and you hadn't "got in there" :D

Dave just looks like he's in bloody heaven.:D

You sound like a nice lad. no wonder you go there to pull. it must be easy!

SO you think the world is cars in the cold or drinking in the cold?

there are many other ways to have a good night.

to be honest holding a car down while it rev's it's nuts off isn't my cup of tea at all or nearly having a leg amputated as a car skims you right knee.

doesn't sound too safe. just hope you wear a condom when you are shagging about!

I have actually  we're going riding together soon too .... on horses obviously!

Not me, cant stand the things, ruin it IMO.

I just leave after anyway and never have contact again, if they get pregnant, there problem - cause I wont be about ;)

now now walkie, stop trying to cause arguments! just say 'yes of course I do' and leave it at that!

anyways, it's not just about gettin pregnant now is it?

fine girls?

Obviously a very different rochdale to the one i live in. but, judging by the pics, you didn't notice in the poor lighting and smoke.......

i *think* the views expressed are that the sort of motor vehicle control being demonstrated at a cruise is fine, in a specific setting, i.e track setting. but taking it out into what is a very open and public accessible location does pose risks for all involved.

if we're talking sandbrook park at 2am in the morning, ok ( though i doubt residents who's houses back onto the area would be hugely impressed)

but if thats going on while people are still using the cinema.....then i'd have to agree with chris newell and possibly even use stronger terms.

it's all fine and dandy until some poor schmuck gets hurt.

and before any cruise attendee's flame me and say i don't have a clue what i'm talking about and i should attend one or two....

i don't have to have been a horse to be a jockey, just know horses. the unwillingness to have a grown up discussion and mature solution to cruises is manifest by both those who would ban them, torch the cars and lock up attendee's and those who do cruises who insist they can do this if they want to because it's a free country.

Act responsibly and with consideration, no problems. Act like a complete tool, deserve everything you (general term, not singling out anyone btw) get - perhaps a jail sentence or a damn good beating......

perhaps a jail sentence or a damn good beating......

beating? come on, even murders don't get that!! (unfortunately) and most of them get let out of jail after a couple of years!!

Personally I would go to a cruise, but my job has it's restraints. But I don't see any problems with these meetings as long as those involved behave themselves. have a good laugh that's what I say. :D

I say whatever floats yer boat as long as your not being a danger/pain in the **** to anyone else

definitly. Beatings would be great!!

beat them all. The people that go to these thing havn't put up a good argument at all. you make your self sound like absolute tw+Ts

"i dont wear a condom, just leave em...blah blah"

and you wonder why people give you a bad name. Learn to discuss properly or don't at all.

I think these people are generally people who havn't got an education. you don't make me think otherwise...IMO

how about go racing on a track? that would be more fun? and safer?

Chris - I'm struggling to see how you are adding anything useful to this thread.

I think walkie's comments are somewhat tongue in cheek.

I'd be interested in attending a cruise - get some "respect" for the Skoda brand amongst the younger generations...

I'm now off to have nightmares about ***** all driving around in "kitted up" vRS's!
