Does anyone know anything about this car??

Featured Replies

I spoke to the dealer earlier, i was clearly told it had NO warranty.

Black Magic what other mods have been done and can you shed some light on the difference between KW variant 1 and 2?

Also why is the Carbindo CAI a mod which most owners are afraid of? is it awkward to fit or does it have questionable gains??

The CAI is designed for the Octy TDI, and it is meant to fit and run through where the airbox usually sits and down the right hand side of the battery box to where the octy usual intake is.

As the Fabia one is to the left of the battery box and in the bonnet grille area, it has to be butchered to fit. I bought one, wussed out and returned it. I couldn't bring myself to butcher a brand new bit of fine looking kit. :)

This is now running on 2 threads, as you can see the car hasn't done many miles, most of them have been going back and forward to Star for different mods, only been to 1 track afternoon and he didn't do many laps.

The brakes are the best I've seen on a Fabia, KW2,s are spring height and rebound adjustable, the cars only 10 miles from me, you could always try pm'ing Jimmy Mack, the dealer has had it in for a few weeks, but may not be up for another trade in modified car unless it's fairly standard.

Ypu'll also see the cracking WRC look alike they had done.

The standard air box is removed, the CAI isn't butchered just the pipework connecting it.

:wrthless:

:D

I tried and couldn't see how I could do it without doing something mega to that carbon type solid bit of pipework. :(

Never mind, I'm happy with the way it is now anyway. :)

I've not seen many of your English cars, but I'd say this is the most sorted without going extreme Fabia in Scotland. Just before you get to crazy turbo, LPG, injectors and LPG.

Just price the brakes alone.

Ah - i think i really, really want that car !!!!!!!!

Interesting.... Thats a different CAI - The one I bought had a solid pipe going all the way to more or less where the washer bottle cap is.... :) I got the one I had from Awesome GTI, and was the "octavia TDI" one. :)

Thanks for pointing that out though - Didn't look carefully enough in the auction. :o
