Sorry folks, I'm a novice when ordering car parts. I have a 57 reg mk1 classic 74kw one. . Looking to order a window regulator from ebay. There are many versions of body type, ie, Hatchback 1u2, 1uz etc.. Is there anyway to find out what the body type is? 

 

I'm thinking it's the 1u2 Hatchback.

Look on your V5 logbook, the chassis number will contain the 1U2 1Z2 as by year yours could be either, Have a look on this http://skoda.7zap.com/en/cz/ then you can get the correct part number

Mk1 hatch is 1U2, Mk1 estate is 1U5. Front window regulators on eBay.
