Any changes to march 06 fabia vrs?

Featured Replies

Can I expect any changes to the march 06 vrs? My dealer mentioned the Euro 1V engine and I noticed the new style vrs badge, but I'm not sure if that's on the new Octy only.

The one i was hoping for was the cd player accepting mp3 files

It will probably have a more restrictive filter in the exhaust to absorb more particles - not a biggy if you're not remapping it but IIRC there was a thread here about a remap that was restricted a fair bit because of one (until it was removed ;))

:iagree:

What he said.

pixi, I think 2006 model cars get 'EBA' as well (Emergency Brake Assist).

I believe this is intended to monitor the braking effort, and if it senses you are braking heavily, it will 'assist' by applying maximum possible braking pressure.

Cheers.

I heard this too, but that as a workaround, Skoda had offered a dealer fit option of special floatation devices allowing the car to be driven across stretches of open water...... ;)

Chris

I heard they had the 2.0 petrol engine.

Only joking, BTW!

In the latest brochure (the one with the mistake about the available colours) the Euro IV engine has the same quoted performance save for slightly better fuel economy.

The performance figures are about 1.5 seconds out anyway and mpg figures are miles out!!

The patterning on the dash immediately under the front windscreen is slightly different to the previous Fabia VRS (I have a 54), but only noticed this because the salesman pointed it out to me, told me everything else was the same.
