Featured Replies

Just thought I'd get a project going on my octy,

64 plate Octavia Vrs

38,000 miles

Dsg

Race blue

18" wheels

half leather seats

plans for the car

Fix I call the paint work (some stone chips and a bad repair)

Black grill surround

upgrade dog bone mount

Gfb dv+

change all lights to led

lsd for gearbox

bigger brakes

revo induction kit

Remus exhaust with the valves

unicorn developments remap to engine and gearbox

Im really happy with the car so glad to be back in a vag, I like the power delivery and that dsg box is awesome. I have single staged the bonnet and it came up nice so will soon be doing a full paint correction on the car after I've had the paint done, so for now it's just had a good clean and some csp wax.IMG_5975.thumb.JPG.38ff6f0af52cb6ec1d8fabc96f49606e.JPGIMG_5981.thumb.JPG.97df37bf0b17f0dd6b08ab3cf807159e.JPGIMG_5980.thumb.JPG.07f32405d5f8f433ba7ea2bdcefb92f7.JPG

I've not posted in ages so here goes, I've treated the car to a two stage polish and single coat of ceramic.

I've also added some little goodies in the form of the intergrated engineering induction kit, Racing line R600 turbo elbow, Black magic grill surround and a GFB dv+ for the golf r.

Looking good, I'll keep my eye out for it, there's been a couple of blue vrs's parked in Royton co op recently.

Paint work looks great following the detailing. Nice car and a good start to a project thread :)

So today I spent the day cleaning and waxing the car, I removed the wheels cleaned the arch liners, arms, shocks and calipers. Then I ceramic coated the calipers IMG_6190.thumb.JPG.2a6a9459bcfdf2e72ff81a4d64cd2a9f.JPGIMG_6194.thumb.JPG.8671dfdf7350154568da00a71afa8877.JPGIMG_6199.thumb.JPG.df275dc64570acdc46eb32a68f182ef5.JPG

Stops the engine rocking on and off throttle.

Ok, more balanced weight then?

No mate it's a stiffer mount witch reduces the back and forward movement of the engine.
