Can somebody please confirm that bi-xenon headlights were fitted as standard on the VRS from first production.

 

I am looking to buy used and I have had mixed info with one dealer saying they weren't standard in earlier MKIIIs. Is this the case?

I don't believe that to be true. As far as I know, bi-xenons have always been standard fit (UK). 

I had a MKIII  Tdi  Vrs regestered Dec 13. It had Xenons with washers as Standard.

Think your Correct, MKIII Vrs as Standard, Pre MKIII was an option.

Yep all UK spec VRS have Bi-Xenons as standard from launch. Not sure about NON-UK spec RHD (i.e. Cyprus) imported cars which might have been UK registered though.

Had them on a previous car and missed them so glad they are standard.

Yes , I had a 2013 UK spec petrol estate and it had bixenons.

Standard on UK spec as above, but there are quite a few Motorpoint imports floating around that also don't have alarms .........
