PCP Offer MY17, no offer on MY18 ?

Featured Replies

Hi,

Was looking on Skoda UK website under the finance offers and thought the £2000 deposit contribution on PCP might be worth looking at, but then noticed it appears to be restricted to MY17 (model year 2017) models

There is a note on website that any new factory orders will be MY18 spec (although doesn't seem to say what differences from MY17 are), but it appears there is no finance offer if you choose a MY18 spec car.

This suggests if you specify a couple of £50 options that requires a factory order, effectively going to cost you another £2000 to have the options

Have I read it correctly ?

Kind of makes sense for them to clear out old stock sat at Emden or in the network .

Many a good deal to be had  in these situations

Since I posted this, now looks like an extra flat £500 discount is being included.

I ordered my new Fabia in Feb but as the spec I wanted wasn't in stock, it was Factory built in April. I got the £2000 discount on the PCP.

Hope that helps.

Well your car will be a MY17 car, so that makes sense ;-)

On the website:

Please note – Factory orders from 28 April 2017 will reflect Model Year 18 specification and pricing

So out of curiosity when does a MY18 come in to effect?

They start being built soon- normally week 22 I think, which is late May.
