Hello all fellow Skoda people. This is me saying hi.

Featured Replies

Hello. I live in Norway and have been snooping around this forum the last few days. Finally decided to join the community for sharing my experiences and maybe learn a lot of new things on the way. My attachment is my Skoda Superb 2014 facelift. 170 CR 4x4 fully loaded business edition. Bought the car new for 3,5 years ago and never regretted it since. Excellent car!

Now it has run for 38002 km .

My recent mods to the car is:

Lowering kit ( only 30mm ) Documented in the pinkslip. TUV

Had to tune it of course. Now having 212 HP and 435 NM (org. 170 hp and 350 NM) (no box, but corrected the original software with the opportunity to switch to stock and back when ever I want. Also it is DSG.

19 inch wheels. on 4x4 had to use ET 42 with 8,5 x 19 on 235-35-R19 tires.

Mods with my VCDS:

KESSY - locking the car with FOB while the engine is running. (lovely in the wintertime)

Adjusted number of blinks from 3 to 4 on turn signal comfort.

open/close trunk electric boot from key and button inside the car. Also removed the beep sound.

Removed the cornering fog light when I turn to left or right.

Removed the seatbelt warning with sound.

Enabled auto close windows and sunroof if open when car is parked if rain hits the rain sensor.

Enabled the cruise control setting to the MAXI DOT when it is active. Showing the actual setting of the speed.

Auto lock doors over 15 km/h and auto unlock when ignition switch goes of.

Other:

Switched out the neck rests in front with integrated tv/dvd/usb/SD for the kids, with wireless headphones. Motorised hatch hiding the screen when not in use. no cables visible of course.

Also just finished the outside of the car, removing scratches and defects in the paint. Took me 7 hours. Treated with swissvax utopia (Norwegian exclusive edition) Wheels are treated with Swissvax Autobahn wheel vax.

Fog light bulbs has been switched out for white bulbs instead of yellow. Now matching the led DRLs

Feel free to comment or say hi. I would love to get inspiration from you guys.

Next: going LED on all interior bulbs for white light, not yellow. Same for the license number lights in the back.

And if some you in this forum knows how to fold the mirrors with only single press on the fob when locking the car, please let me know.

(I know about holding it down for 3 seconds and they fold, but want it in singles press when only locking the car.

PS: sorry for my English :)

See you around, regards, Kenneth

Welcome along!  You've certainly put a lot of work into that car.  That's low enough mileage for a diesel over 3.5 years?
