Will the trinity wheels from the superb 2 fit a octavia 3 (pre FL)?

 

Trinity:

Wheel dimensions: 7.5J x 18“, ET 46

Tyres: 225/40 R18

 

Compared with Golus (Octavia III wheels):

Wheel dimensions: 7.5J x 18“, ET 51

Tyres: 225/40 R18

 

So the ET is different. A higher number for the Golus suggests that Golus sits closer to the middle of the car, whereas the Trinity is protruding more from the wheel well, right? So a spacer would not help.

 Is ET in mm? Also, Trinity has been avaliable for the Octavia Scout, is that the same rim?

Hi. They would fit just fine. The difference in ET would mean they protrude 5mm further out that your wheels now. 

They fit fine, been done already and look good IMHO:
