If my annual mileage was lower then I'd have it in a heartbeat.

Been looking at this as my daily commute is only 4 miles each way but the only time I'd use it's full potential is when I go on holiday to Europe once a year....man maths though is slowly coming around

I've got the TDI 170 estate version of one of those. Very nice place to sit when stuck in traffic. Or waiting for the ferry, think I'll catch up on what's going on in F1 whilst I wait....

I did consider a v6 (even at 15k miles a year) as didn't really want a diesel and there wasn't many 2.0 TSI about. But the 25 mpg was too much.

Still £14k is only slightly more than I paid for mine last year. And it's a FL.

Wow - that's tempting.

I thought they stopped doing the v6 after the facelift - note CO₂Emissions:215 g/km Lower than pre facelift - so car tax not toooo bad

Alloy wheel looks a bit rough though!

Hi all just a quick word about Used Cars of Bristol; I bought my Superb from them, no budging on price no fixes to any cosmetic damage no service before purchase, I only bought mine as it was the  exact colur and spec I wanted... and a half arsed valet. I had to fork out for DSG service Cambelt soon after purchase, but i knew that so the price was still good, i know it was not their fault but beware they are priced low for a reason, sales people are Ok ,not bad but they will not give anything away.

Whats the BHP/Torque on the V6?

Can it match the Jag XF 3.0d? (275BHP/500N/m or 400 ft.lb)

265hp/258lb ft can't match a turbo diesel with a nat asp petrol!

Im only having a petrol when i can afford 1 with a left bank of 4 cylinders and a right bank of 4 cylinder, a Holley carb, Torqueflite slush box and 10/10 grin factor

Shame the Mustang only has two doors then!!

That V6 still looks tempting - Probably woud use nearly double the fuel that mine does though

That's not correct for the v6 Superb but it doesn't quite match the quoted figures for the XF. But it's not diesel. It's also 4wd only :)

v6 Superb is 350Nm from 2,500 - 5,000 rpm (matching the torque of the most powerful Superb mk2 diesel according to the published specs, but the diesel makes it from somewhere around 1,500 - 1,750 rpm). 80mph in 6th is exactly 2,500 rpm which can make for very smooth autobahn cruising if you so wish. It's 256 bhp I think too but who's counting?
