I'm looking for info on the adaptions lists for the kodaiq.

Unfortunately long coding help doesn't work for a lot of the modules, does anyone have any info on how I can read them? i.e. is there a method to read with my VCDS.

It seems that either VAG have gotten better at blocking them or else the module are newer and rosstech haven't decoded all of them yet.

 

Anyway any help would be appreciated and I'm willing to upload/post what I get from it up here.

Hello, I also bought a short time Kodiaq 2.0 tdi, 4x4, dsg. Many long codes are not available, However, through the adaptation channel you can enter the control unit and modify the code.

I followed the octavia 3 procedure on the site and I "played."

Hello, I can not find anywhere the translation of the long code of the abs control unit ..... I have to activate acc but I'm going to try ... Do you have something? thank you

I am now to this forum and this topic. I want to change my map form EU to MRM (ROW) and have found google video on how to do it with VCDS. I went ahead to buy a cable to try it but the format is quite different from what I see in the youtube video.

 

Would you know how to go the the adaptation channel to change a map region code?

 

The instruction I found is open controller 37 (Navigation) or 56 (Radio), go to channel 130 in adaptation and change the value to 3. However, in Kodiaq, it seems 37 is not accessible.

Those instructions do not apply since the infotainment in your Kodiaq is at address 5F - those instructions are for previous generations of sat nav system.

Thanks for sharing PetrolDave. Would you happen to know exactly which address I need to modify to change the region code for map to southeast asia? As I am really very new to this, would be very grateful if you can instruct me how to get to the address space. I am using VCDS 18.9. I believe my cable is HEX-v1.

Found - 4th hexadecimal pair in the code-string of 5F module is the country-code for SATNAV. But do not know what is the hex value for southeast asia.

You really should keep your VCDS software up-to-date - it's free for all owners of genuine Ross-Tech cables! The latest version is 20.4.1

Sorry I don't know what the country code is for SE Asia either.
