Flashing Gear [ P R D S N ]

Featured Replies

Hello, I own a Skoda Octavia III and it won't go into gear. It just flashed, and wont go over 2500 RPM when i rev in D,R,S. When I rev in N it goes to i thinkg 4000-5000 (normal i guess for diesel) But the problem is that it wont go into gear at all, wont move. Would appreciate all the help I can get.

Thanks!

This perhaps needs moving to the Octavia III Sub forums.

Flashing transmission selection indicators on a DSG transmission is usually sign of an error detected and that is why the car won't move.  Clutch pack temp sensor, mechantronic unit problem etc. etc. Needs to be recovered to the garage or VCDS codes read to evaluate further, Is it still in warranty?

& an Octavia with which engine & DSG,  Diesel or Petrol 6 speed or wet?

7 Speed Twin Dry Clutch DQ200 have a Service Campaign available, 34F7 due to the risk of loss of drive,

Mechatronic Control Unit failings.

EDIT,

DOH, Sorry i see Diesel,.

So 1.6TDI 7 speed or 2.0 TDI 6 speed?

Latest DQ200 DSG 'Service Campaign / SKODA Secret service campaign, need to know basis, nod as good as a wink'.

34H5.

started late 2016 on some DSG 2013-2015, Software update'.
