12V output

Featured Replies

I know the output is live with engine off, but is there is a difference in output strength when engine is turned off compared to when its running?

What do you mean by "strength"?

The voltage will be lower as it will be battery voltage not "battery being charged by alternator" voltage, but the current capacity will be the same.

Yes. A battery measured across the terminal voltage at rest will float at about 12.8 and under charge will be up to 14.4 iirc.

I was just wondering how will beers in my newly bought fridge get cold with my car parked :D

It'll work well for the first eight to ten hours.

Fridge will consume about 5-8A current and your battery is 84Ah.

Don't forget it on for overnight...

I flattened a battery chilling some French wine. Luckily I got a competent jump start from the camp site proprietor.

You could buy in- line cut outs that switch off the fridge ,or whatever, when the voltage drops. I got one from Towsure.

Pretty much all modern portable fridges have built in cut off function which detects low battery voltage. How does this work in real work is another story :D
