19" Extreme ride comfort

Featured Replies

Hi all,

It's been a while since I've been on here, other the browsing, but there's a good chance that I'll be returning to the fold. I just wanted to ask what peoples experience of the Extreme alloys was, comfort wise. Is the DCC a must with them? Most of my driving will be motorway, 500 mile round trip to work!! So, it needs to be pretty comfortable. I'm looking at the 245 or the 184, I know which is the most sensible, but sensible isn't everything!!

Thanks

Mark

DCC is a must in any way, if you're ordering a new car.

It is pretty comfortable. Much more then Mk6 R on 18".

Perfectly comfortable on both Motorway and A roads, they take a bit of a clattering on bad potholes, but no worse than my MINI on 15" Wheels - plus they look amazing!

Great wheels, curb will love them.

Yep, which is why I've have to go for a slightly wider tyre.

Marmite wheels but I really like them. Running on a set of Eibach Pro kit springs which improves the handling, but never had an issue with the harshness of the ride.

Then again previous cars have been a MK1 Cupra R and cup packed Clio 182.
