Hi all,

 

 Was down at my mates garage yesterday to disable the auto start/stop "feature" in my FL vRS 4x4 DSG using the method in the sticky thread in the octavia section, they have the latest software and the correct HAD+CAN USB connecter, when accessing the software it threw up the error "vehicle not supported". I'm assuming that this is because it's the 2017 model and may not be added to the list yet?

 

Just wondering if anyone has been able to disable the start/stop yet?

Were you using the beta software?

Have you tried using the latest VCDS beta version? According to the VCDS Forum that fixes the problem you mention on several cars.

To the best of my memory it's wasn't the beta software, I'll see if I can get them to download it and try it.
