Silly electrical problems...J519 Control Unit?

Featured Replies

I have a 2009 Skoda Superb with 2 electrical problems that I can't get my head around. Firstly the window in th rear passenger door doesn't move. I've discovered that there is no power to the control unit in that door. When I put 12v into it directly the window works! Why wouldn't the control module get power? All other door works fine so it couldn't be a fuse or relay seperate for each door. The second problem is a bulb out warning light which VCDS leads me to a reverse light on the drivers side. But again there is no power to the bulb holder at all despite power going to the passenger side reverse light! I'm at a loss so I bought a J519 CCM control unit or what ever its called because thats really all I can think of. Anyone have any other ideas? Thanks in advance!

Should also mention these problems seem to be intermittant - for one whole day the window did work before I investigated anything!

Don't know about reverse light - but windows are "controlled" by driver's door - all cables go there - so check driver's door.

Sounds like cracked wiring somewhere to me.
