A real panic moment earlier today but I can't be the only one? Placed my wallet in side drivers pocket and then climbed some fairly steep roads on way down to South East France. Automatically check for the wallet and to my shock it's gone. Did it fall out at last WC stop? About to ring bank to cancel my cards when I reach to very back of the side pocket and there it is, hiding! Panic over but that pocket is hidden and I had no idea items could move that far back.

Can't happen to me.  That's where I store reflective vests as required in France, Germany and no doubt many other countries.

Storing a vest out of sight but readily accessible in each door's storage recess, one for each occupant, was just one of the many things Škoda listed as "Simply Clever" in the publicity blurb when the Superb III was announced.

Good thinking yes and ideal spot for them! So this space is actually described as a storage 'recess' then?

Though my immediate thought when reading the title was "I hope he has found the spikes behind the glove box"
