New sportline low light fogs

Featured Replies

Disappointed I was again after my VRS and now my new sportline. The fogs were near yellow on the VRS and now on the sportline , really low powered. Man I thought I was going to get some real high powered LED types.

So , I want better bulbs. I want bright white to match xenon's if poss

1 what should I get . 2 how hard to change via wheel well. 3 , Mucho quids?

I've fitted these to my Sportline, I'm happy with them:

There's no need to change them via the wheel arch/well; a little tug of the lower grill panels that are right next to the fog light lenses is all that's required.  Take a look at the lower grill and you should see the panel gaps and it'll hopefully be obvious where you need to pull.

It's a 5-10 job for both bulbs.

Since the front fog lights should be on just in fog and poor visibility and not as a style statement, do the standard bulbs work in fog or do they really need

some high powered LED types?

I can't remember when I've driven in fog that warrants the use of front fogs but at least they match the xenons when I reverse/corner

Yes. Location location thing,

and in the wet west of Scotland there are still those that think running around with Front Fogs on is sooo cool,. especially in a cool blue /whiteish colour.

A bit of fog about earlier today, and odd (or just usual)  how some think DRL's to the front and nothing to the rear is a good idea, then others need the full monte of lighting including front and rear fogs on where visibility is good enough for just Side Light & Dipped Beams.

If in Standstill or crawling traffic and a car is behind at crawling speed they know the car in front is there without the assistance of rear fogs showing out....

Awayoffski, I ordered the West of Scotland performance pack. Instead of the boring umbrellas in the door , I got 2 Burberry baseball caps.

Pure class ma man!

Spent Saturday night in the Merchant City, i always though Glasgow was a fashion trend setter but now i know different.

Those Taxi Drivers are something else, and that is not a compliment.

Love the cycle couriers though, the not male ones.

Will these bulbs fade when turned on/off when cornering?

No but I believe that's a characteristic of all LED/LED CREE bulbs, not just these particular ones.
