In general I hate cars like that. But still... Everytime I see those wide arches I think, thats so much nicer than mine.

Think the front bumper on that blue one is nicer than the vRS's 'chin' as well.

Maybe I need to start shopping at halfords?

They're all hideious IMO. Wide arch kit is so 1990s and its seems higher than a stock vRS.
