I am looking for a USB charger plug to put in the cigarette lighter in the center console that is small enough to allow me to close the covering flap/door over the unit when not in use. 

 

I am talking about the flap that you can push/pull to allow access to where the ashtray would be; my car has a small tray rather than an ashtray. I have a USB charger adapter but it sticks out too much to allow me to close the small flap. 

 

Would something like this size work:

Have them fitted front and back and works perfectly.

Only issue is that you cannot keep the cable plugged in but with no cable then the cover will close. I just normally unplug and store the cable in the tray.

These ones get good reviews and are low profile.
