I hope someone can help me... I have a 2010 octavia scout and the windows and mirrors all work back to front. I've hooked it up to vcds and softcoding on front elec is 0000512 for 5 door chasing.  If I change this to 0000128 for right hand drive the mirrors and windows all work as they should apart from the front door window switches for the back windows do nothing... is there a softcoding for rhd and 5 door chassis .. the back doors are 0000144.

 

Please help as I'm going insane trying to get this to work right. Left is tight and up is down

Can you add an autoscan?

 

Maybe also add a location? I assume you're in the UK but it's not clear which country you're in

I'll try get a scan in next few days. I'm in the uk BTW. .. the car is a 2010 octavia scout. They all worked fine until I friend tried to activate a none existant mirror fold motor. Lost the original softcoding number so tried it on 0000512 and 0000128 but to no avail.

I think most recent VCDS versions should make a log of all coding changes, try checking CodingLog.TXT in C:\Ross-Tech\VCDS\Debug

 

In future, you should always do an autoscan first  

 

Once you've got a full autoscan I'm sure we can give some suggestions. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out once after seeing what the car has fitted.
