Definitely one in ours. Never been out of the wrapping but it is in a long slot under the passenger seat. Can't get a picture as I'm not at home at the moment. 

Mine was in the glove box on collection

Umbrella ( a full size one ) was handed to me with the bag of goodies ( the wine, choccies, and Skoda notepad ! ).

Mines a little dinky one (umbrella that is  )

 

The one in my Superb was full size

 

Guess it was to keep relative to the size of the car 

 

The umbrella holder under the front passenger seat came in with the MY17 cars, built from around May 2016 onwards. Mine's a late MY16 and doesn't have it, instead it has the storage box like the one under the driver's seat.

Right. Mines a late 16MY so that would explain the confusion.
