Winter is coming!!

 

Winter tyres, 205/55 R16 Avon Ice Touring x1, Ice Touring ST x3.

Alloys, Dezent L Silver, 6.5 X 16, 5/112 bolt fitment.

 

Was fitted to my Octy II (VRS) during the winter months. Sadly the 16" wheels won't fit my new VRS with bigger discs...

 

All tyres were matching Avon Ice Touring ST, until I noticed a screw in one tyre and replaced with the nearest equivalent I could find nearby (Avon Ice Touring). Obviously no bulges, cuts, nails etc on the four tyres. Ace grip when it gets colder and so much more grip in the snow/ice. 

 

All have plenty of tread left, I think from the last MOT they were 6mm on three of the tyres and 8mm on the other one. Not much mileage covered since then - prob 1000 miles. 

 

The alloys are overall in good condition, with a couple of scuffs/minor chips around the wheel nut holes and I think one has a superficial scuff. I think they're presentable.

 

They were stored with pretty high pressure, on a wheel tree in a dry shed, which is well shaded by surrounding trees and bushes.
