PID codes for TPMS and others

Featured Replies

Just picked up new FL Octavia and using android auto.

I use touque to read data from the car and now using an app called OBD2AA I can display these on the dash.

OBD2AA also supports reading the pressures from the TPMS but you need to provide the PID code to read the right data.

Does anyone know what these codes are there should be one for each wheel.

Any other PID unique to Skoda would also be interesting.

There are no pressures for the TPMS as there are no sensors in the wheels.

It only monitors wheel rotation so its maybe not possible to do this.

Interesting response didn't know that.

For cost saving reasons very few TPMS systems actually have wheel pressure/temperature sensors.

My Audi B7 RS4 had them but the newer B8/B9 RS4 have the ABS based system as Audi reduced their costs but increased their prices...

I think the Wheel speed monitoring system is required in Europe now as standard.

It my opinion its much better than the actual sensors as you can freely swap wheels for winter/summer, is less to go wrong as the car gets older & it doesnt cost you extra each time you change tyres.

I hope that the skoda system is better than my current v40 volvo is, as  if you have different tyre tread depths on the same end ie front or back it keeps telling me I have a flat tyre when I haven't, as they rotate at different speeds.
