You get change from a 5 litre tub, you need a bit more with a 4 litre tub.

I make that round about 4.5 litres.

4.3 litres, I think officially. Definately more than 4 and less than 5.

Thanks Guys...Just picked car up from a service., checked the oil after the car has been stood for an hour, Right on the mark and I have about 1/2 ltr left which the garage gave me....Car was also Washed and hovered out...Very pleased

It's shown as 4.5 litres on the Skoda servicing spreadsheet.

4.5 is just about spot on.

I'm worried.... This mean I was spot on too. :eek:

When i got my Furby VRS back from it's 10,000 mile service the oil level was WAY above maximum. I think they put the full 5 litres in. For a few weeks afterwards i kept finding little pools of oil around the filler cap, as if the oil was trying to force it's way out. Things have settled down now though!

Pretty much a gallon then :wow: think of that poor starter motor having to turn the lump on a cold morning through that lot!
