alternative seats?

Featured Replies

I can see from previous threads that I'm not the only one suffering discomfort  with the superb seats.   I've an elegance with leather and electric memory seats and it feels more like sitting on a hard bench than a comfy seat.

Short trips are OK, but longer runs and my sit bones get very uncomfortable.

Just wondered if people have tried other seats and if they are an easy swap?   Audi A6?  A8?   L&K?  superb 3?   I expect the elecy memory stuff might be an issue?

You should be able to swap in seats from other PQ35 or PQ46 models. Whether they'll look good in there is a different story, and yeah, memory functions could be a problem.

I've found it takes time to find the right settings - there's a huge range of adjustment available and it can take a lot of fiddling to find what suits you. Try rolling the lumbar support back and down as far as it goes and start adjusting from there. I've also found adjusting the tilt of the base did wonders for my back - tilting it up a little at the front so my thighs are better supported worked a treat.

Agree with this. There is almost too much choice with the memory seats. Another possibility is to have a look on the web for guides on seat setup. That should give you a decent start point from which to fine tune.
