No entiendo

You need to post in English dude, and don't bother fitting a silly air filter kit.

Air filters make no difference to the performance of a diesel. They just look pretty.

I am guessing you mean an Induction kit with a cone filter. You can buy them for the car, you may get a little more induction noise, but as said above they won't gain any more performance. I'm sure there are members on here who run 200 bhp+ and still have standard paper filter in the airbox.

 Yup, I’m one of ‘em.

Save your money and spend it on something that will actually help or improve things. Will waving is for those that have one, and we drive a diesel roller skate as one member recently called the Fabia vRS :D

Would i gain anything with a K&N in my 1.4 mpi? (Be gentle with me)

Maybe a tiny bit.

A tiny bit for my mighty 8 valves..... Cool, if i find one cheap on the bay i may dip in my pocket.

Not very quick are they :D

If i say no, do i incriminate my self in the future? She's great for my job working in the community. Way better on the juice than my old honda MK1 crv, 25mpg at best but she was 17yrs old. Started making a nasty noise and the Mrs said she had to. And so much better than the piece of s*** jeep patriot TD I had from new. The engine was vw and blew the turbo but jeep techs knew naff all about vw kit and made it worse, and worse ended up with a new engine and they want me to pay. Told them keep the car I'm off.

Aye they do the job. Not fast but quite torquey. Good proven engine which goes back to the 1960s. Was the same engine used in rear-engined Estelles/Rapids. Rattly timing chains are a bit of a pain though.

In reply to the OP.

If you have a standard 130 bhp VRS and don;t plan any other mods then a fancy filter is going to do almost nothing.

One of these kits that puts a cone filter on the end of a hose instead of in the airbox, will quite possibly loose performance because the air is going to be pulled in from the engine bay at a higher temperature and the amount of fuel fed to the engine is regulated in proportion to this.

Although I run a K&N filter on my PD100 I am pretty certain you could get the same result by changing the standard element more often.

Thanks to those who answered my comment and responding again I have a Skoda Fabia Vrs 1.9TDI with power of approximately 190bhp, altered map of the original, large front intercooler, exhaust line all in stainless steel, EGR valve eliminated, referring to these modifications if you change the filter of air for a K & N type valera just or n ?? If so, what do they tell me?

Not necessary and not a good idea, the filtration is just not good enough, the air will be too dirty and your turbo will get damaged.

Don't bother.
