Euro 6

Featured Replies

Great thread. I didn't realise my 65plate VRS was Euro6. I do now

According to the HPI link, my Dec '14 registered Octavia is Euro6, even though the TFL site says I'll have to pay to use the ULE zones......

My April 2014 registered Octavia diesel estate is Euro 5

another emissions checking site http://eurostandards.co.uk

Dec 2013 1.6 TDi DSG (CR whatever that means?)

Apparently subject to the London emission zone charge if I ever decide to drive there.

One remediation is to

I clicked on the upgrade link wondering if it was a new filter or exhaust attachment or whatnot, but there is no detail. I'm beginning to think it's the typical London "money doesn't matter" solution of scrapping it and buying something brand new.

CR is Common Rail

some of the above sites in this post say my car is euro5 and some say euro6 mine was registered april 2015

@savman  & which is it.  What does the V5 show for emissions, when was it first registered, what VED do you pay etc?

The V5C tells you iirc. I've got one of those French low polluter stickers for my car. £30 road tax on my MY16 is also a clue for EU6.

I have the same model registered March 2013.  Guess I'm Euro 5  Are there any upgrades I can do?

The website doesn't list any upgrades, I guess the Transport For London version of an upgrade is a new Range Rover or something.

The TfL site uses quite clunky data, it knows the date when the vehicle had to be euroVI,

However others have found that early adopters are often classified incorrectly as TfL didn't bother to check properly

If TfL have got it wrong, not sure what happens, (although that miserable bunch will probably fine you anyway, and wait for you to prove otherwise, rather than try and be accurate in advance)
