SKODA OCTAVIA III Elegance estate rear passenger seat belt buckle will not latch

Featured Replies

I am having problems with the offside rear passenger belt buckle. It does not latch to the belt clip. I have used silicone spray to free it up previously but now it seems to have given up the ghost.

Where can I find the workshop manual so that I can remove the rear seat for a look. And where if necessary the correct part number for a replacement?

I am sure this is not it but the two belt clips are different, the one for the center belt will not work for the outside belt, I pnce had them twisted on a different car and too a bit to work out whet was wrong.

It is the single buckle. It will not latch. I can’t find it as a part anywhere

In my car clips must be the same. My older kid is sitting behind front left seat and belting himself sometimes in the left, sometimes in the middle - I can see what he has done on the Maxidot. :)

I don’t think I’ve explained what I mean very well. What I’m saying is that the buckle that is behind the driver which is single does not latch. i.e. its broken. I’ve phoned Skoda to source a replacement as I couldn’t find an available part number or replacement online.
