Fits well, use the 4 bumper screws at the bottom to attach it, tiger seal the edges on the rest and let it set overnight!

  • Rear LED clusters also added, pictures and video provided

  • Headlights tinted, pillar wrap removed, replaced with the milotec pillar covers. Much better as they match the wind deflectors and shine from the glass. Also changed my wing mirror covers to black aft

  • Small update, finally had the bumper lip wrapped, thanks to @Dubbsley for the inspiration! It needs a little bit of aftercare as we lost the daylight but that'll be sorted next week.

Alloys ordered, new Miltek cat back, resonated stainless steel 3" twin exhaust going on Monday and a stage 1 remap booked for early September!

Here are some comparisons from day 0 to now, 9 months of ownership!

I have also been finishing off covering the interior door "brushed aluminium" trims and it looks so much better!

All four doors are done but you get the idea without pictures of each door!

Looks good, how did you find the wrapping? I've not done so well in previous attempts

Not too bad, I thought it would be worse. The corners are fiddly but with enough heat to stretch it round corners it's a lot easier!

Any videos of the exhaust? Can you actually hear it and get DSG farts (unless you're manual) - I want to go non-res, really hoping it won't be too loud or at all drony!

Hey Nick, familiar name!

This one doesn't really pop and fart as such, non res was too much noise for a daily, family car!

It's not that load, it's nice when accelerating and driving. Hard to hear it properly when revving but this is the resonated version. It's just right for me and still sounds good but not in your face!

I can't upload the video here as I'm only allowed a 10mb upload but I'll add it where you have asked on Facebook in the OVRSOC group!

It's just cosmetic so none haha!

Would you be interested in selling the original spoiler? Mine is suffering from clear coat failure and needs a paint. A spoiler swap would be a easier and quicker option

Hi buddy, not completely sure. I think I need to hold onto it for a short while at least just in case I'd need to swap back for any reason. Not sure what it's worth either to be honest?

Really, really like it. Not stupidly noisy as it's resonated. Looks and sounds great!

No problem, thought I would ask. If you do decide to sell, let me know!!

Not a problem, realistically I will likely sell it but not for a few weeks until after the current is fitted as I need to know all is well!

Stage 1 remap day. Been excited about this but also a bit nervous because of any unexpected issues.

Well she made 270.7 BHP and 313 ft.lb torque / 424.37 Nm. All on a stage 1 remap. Did not expect that! I am totally blown away and very, very happy!

Not bad at all!

This won't be to everyones taste  but I love it so much. I tracked down a WRC spoiler manufacturer, had it sprayed and fitted it this weekend, also I have added the eyebrows but they are just vinyl wrap for now to see if I would actually like it or not!

I think the eyebrows work really well in black and are definitely better than when you had them in red.  As for the spoiler, I'm a big fan of things like that and always wanted one on my Mk1 Octavia vRS.  Good work!
