Below are the summary figures for my L&K 170bhp DSG. I am one of those nerds who logs every mile and litre, and I have a record of mpg for every tank full since I had the car.

I drive carefully and do not exceed the speed limits by too much or too often [ I know sounds boring]. I think 46 mpg average for that car is pretty good.

I've just had the fix rolled back on my fabia combi 1.2 tdi then had it mapped and egr off.

DPF soot grams are barely building up it's so much better.

And the mpg is very very good.

After top up it realised 79.4mpg.

 

I was really trying for mpg and it was boring as he'll haha

I get about 46mpg out of a 170 DSG pretty much all motorway except a mile one end and 5 the other. Thought mine was low, maybe the norm

I'd say it is excellent for that spec of a Superb and a real (not maxi dot) calculation over that time and mileage.

I drive mine reasonably hard and I'm rarely below the speed limit and I get mid 40s all the time. Small price to pay for not being boring.
