Space Saver Wheel for a 2015 Octy vRS Diesel

Featured Replies

Struggling to find one online - other than a kit on ebay for nearly £400?! Need one asap - would anyone be able to provide a link or be so kind to point me in the direction of someone who has them? Or even a part number?

I'm currently away with work on a training course, but noticed my tyre was flat as I left home, so I want to try and get it sorted before I get home ideally :)

Actually, just found this - https://www.thewheelshop.co.uk/skoda-octavia-vrs-iii-l-k-18-space-saver-spare-wheel-lifting-jack-and-wheel-brace.html would this be sufficient?

If you opt for a Non Space saver wheel/tyre you will need a 17" wheel. This is the smallest wheel that will fit on the front due to the size of the Front Brakes.

Why do you specifically need a space saver? The spare wheel well will fit a full size wheel and tyre (admittedly not a full size VRS wheel and tyre) although even they only lift the floor half inch or so.

If yours is a later TDi vRS with the smaller 312mm brakes a standard 6x16" 'full size' spare (205/55 tyre) will fit - get those anywhere

If it has the bigger 340mm brakes Why not get a cheap 6.5x17 steel wheel, stick a 205/50 tyre on it? You can at least have some confidence you can do distance if needed
