Can anyone help? Usually after getting to a destination eg. Home, radiator fans come on after turning ignition off. I have noticed that hasn't happened whole week... even after driving hard! Temperature guage reads normal. Is there a problem with my radiator fans?

Could it be an interrupted Regen?

I don't think a Skoda Octavia 1.6 Mpi will do a regen   

 

 

I'm thinking a faulty AC sensor or a loss of AC Gas.  Does the Air Con blow cold air ?

A/C works well. Fans work normal. Cooling system is normal. It's just that when I run hard and I get home and switch off the radiator fans normally come on... and they haven't done that more than a week now!

Hi. I've been having this too. I'm very careful monitoring weird sounds on my car and I've noticed this trend lately - it happens at the end of short city commutes, and - although I'm not 100% sure - usually when the fuel level is at about 50% (I mention this because I've read the fuel level is a go/no-go criteria for the filter regen - yes, it's a diesel). My 2011 Octavia is about 137.000 Kms (~85.000 miles)

Guys, I have noticed that it has started to function again. I drove hard last night and after getting hime the fans came on just as I walked into my home. Weird! Seems to be working... my mileage is 90,000 km. Dunno what to say but tnx for all ur help
