Car Trip Computer?

Featured Replies

Hi guys :)

My current car which is a 07 Megane keeps having new problems pop up, so I'm looking for a Fabia VRS as my next one :) But, im just wondering if the fab has the sort of nice computer options that renaults have.

My Megane has a trip computer that shows current MPG, range remaining, fuel consumed. Does the Fab have any sort of thing available? Or do you need the Maxidot Satnav addition? If not can you retrofit any sort of option for this?

Or would my only option be some sort of chinese OBD screen that displays all this?

thanks!

I have a Fabia Comfort (mid-range model) and the left hand display is a clock, trip counter, range remaining, average mpg for current journey/all time, time driving counter and thermometer. I'd assume the Fabia VRS is the same. I think it's only the classics that don't have it.

Yes the VRS has it as standard

Even my 2001 Fabia 1.9tdi has trip computer, temp, fuel range, journey time, avg mpg etc.....and heated front seats!!

Almost all the models have the small trip computer screen you can scroll through some options with.

very rare but some have maxidot clusters fitted which is a large screen in the middle of the dash displaying more info.
