It's not really known as 'chipping' these days. It's called re-mapping.

A mapper will, normally using a laptop, modifiy the existing software on your car's ECU.

Look out for the Jabba group buy offers as well as JBS Custom Code who sponser the forums. Others include AMD, REVO, RICA and many more.

Prices range from £150 from Ebay to in excess of £600 for a custom job with Rolling Road time.
