H7 LED HEADLIGHT BULB CONVERSION KIT DIRVING FOG LIGHT XENON WHITE 110W 9600LM

Hopefully going in to eBay and clicking that listing should show you the LED headlights I fitted. Seller was called inxsj-light and they accepted my offer of £10. I then obtained these... 2x H7 LED Headlight Bulbs Holder Adapters Retainer For Benz BMW Audi VX Skoda MG From a different seller, to clip them in with. This seller was called buy4motor.

I could have got the clips elsewhere, for around half the price but I wanted them quickly so paid the asking price rather then save a few pounds.  They are a little fiddly to get on but DO work.  Nice white light, even compared to my Osram Nightbreakers.

Pics of the install and them working :)

I didn't actually shoot the firing procedure as its virtually the same as replacing the bulbs anyway. The main difference being removal of the old retaining clip and fitting the new one to the LED bulb. I have since added LED sidelights to the car and captured the image on my phones camera so I will try downloading the image soon. The sidelights looked very dull and yellow after the headlights but now match. The difference now, is when I turn on the foglight and compare the whiteness. They now look dull and yellow, compared to the headlights and sidelights. A quite remarkable difference too, considering the fogs were the brightest to begin with. I am now gonna upgrade them to match as I like the clean, white look. Oh, I also ordered replacement headlight bulb caps for the rear of the headlight which are more sticky-out then the standard ones. The fitted ones do fit but will be right up tight to the fans on the LED's and may prevent the cooling effect so I will fir the new covers as and when they arrive. I left the others off, for now. The fans are quieter with them fitted, though. I could, of course, have cut a circular hole in the old caps with a cookie cutter or something but wanted to keep them incase of returning to stock at any time. They cost around a tenner a piece!

So, LED headlights and sidelights with LED fogs to follow as soon as I can get round to removing a bill to see which ones they take, ordering them and fitting them. I will try for the closest colour to the other bulbs I can get (6500K, I think).

The seller was called first-spring and they cost less then £6 for a set of ten.

That was the sidelight bulbs I fitted. (Ebay). They fit sidelights and rear tail lights so six needed. I purchased ten. If fitting, when in, they only work one way round (Polarity). So if they don't light, pop it out, turn it round the other way and it should be fine. Nice colour, fit fine inside the holders and are a bit brighter then the old bulbs though not too bright to be confused with the brake lights, which still stand out very well! I think they quite the colour as being 6000K but it looks very close to the headlights, just a smaller bulb.

First two pictures taken on daylight, third in early night time. Notice how yellow the fog lights look? They USED to look the whitest and brightest of all the bulbs, the sidelights being barely noticeable. I have now placed an offer on a set of fogs, to match, from the headlight bulb seller.

I am going to actually change the plastic finger bowls when I get time as they have became scratched and slightly damaged whilst removing.

So got round to changing the bulbs yesterday, very fiddly but I found I could squeeze my hands in there to get them out without moving the fuel filter

Yeah, just about do-able... I usually use a pick-tool, like a bent screwdriver but I now wonder, would the plastic toil used for pulling off those plastic wheel nut covers do the job, too? It's already convenient in the car...  I will try it on a nice day. Perhaps loop and tie a length of string to the tool first, just in case you accidentally drop it. The cord will allow you to retrieve it fairly easily.
