I know a guy who recently bought a dieselgeek for a current model ibiza 130pd, He is now selling it because he says it doesnt fit the ibiza engine-

Anyone any idea if the fabia is the same setup as the ibiza? I know hellfire has one fitted, so any advice on what fitment yours was etc and did it need modified in anyway?

no probs , like i say , pivot point seems to be in completely the wrong place , even jim royston ( dieselgeek) said when i sent him pics of it half fitted -to show the fck up , thats a 5 speed box u have , erm no its 6, but then when i sent more pics , a 5 spd kit isnt suitable either , angry but also inquisitive as to how hellfire fitted his

AFAIK the problem fitting the shifter is that the Skoda circular bracket mount is different from the standard VW one.

I got the VW part number of the one that should (?) work. it's VW no. 1J0 711 781C

I'm hunting for it here either new or used to try out.

If I can fit the kit, I'll let eyeveyone know!
