Phone call from dealer to say that I can pick up car next Wednesday. Was expecting it at the end of the month so that's a bonus.

 

SEL 1.5tsi hatch in quartz grey. DSG and active cruise. Then added heated seats and a set of 4 winter wheels and tyres.

 

Getting the garage to fit the wire to fuse box for my dashcam as I fail when trying to put the glove box back. ( what idiot designed it? )

 

Can't wait.

Enjoy - I can forgive you the Quartz Grey just this once. 

 

Glove box is easy if you line up the damper first.

This next week or so is going to feel like a slow one! Post pics when you get it.

 

Glovebox is a bit of a pig to figure out initially, but once you've done it once it's not so bad. I've ripped mine out a few times now; dash cam fitting, pollen filter change, footwell lighting retrofit etc. Could probably do it with my eyes shut now

When did you order? Sick of waiting for my 1.6 tdi SE technology estate ordered in Mid September, no delivery date yet

Ordered early November. It was a car they had ordered already for build week at end of December so I was able to add a couple of extras.

Current Octavia is Race Blue, hope I don't regret the change.

It must just be me with the glove box ! I tried but gave up trying to put it back correctly.
