Columbus problem: always heading NORTH

Featured Replies

Hello everyone

My wife got me a Columbus for Xmas (awwwwww yeah!) which I replaced to my existing RNS315 (don't know the skoda model name).

Everything works, everything's fine, except for... the Maxidot compass always shows "N".. and only N, no matters how I turn.

The "car" on the map always heads north, even if it moves correctly according to GPS position

In the "secret" menu MATCHED POSITION, I am missing a couple ov values:

on the SuperB I get: Latitude N45.xx.xx, Longitude: E11.xx.xx, Heading 00

on my Octavia2 I get: Latutide, Longitude, Heading (with actual values) SPEED and STATUS.

Does anyone know something about this issue?

Thank you, guys!

SOLVED!

Updating maps did the trick, and "unlocked" the situation.

Now fully functional! :-)
