Opinions on roof wrapping

Featured Replies

I am thinking of having the grey part on my roof wrapped the same colour as the sunroof & rear window and wondering if anyone has done anything similar?

Also I have a Seasucker bike mount which attaches to the roof & rear window so the wrap would also protect the paintwork a bit more.

if anyone is any good at picture editing or Photoshop to show what it would look like that would be great.

I'm not so sure the spoiler looks good in black, but definitely the roof all darker will look great.

that's does look good, think I will get it done.

I looked into this bit of the roof being wrapped as I also have a Pan roof. I went to a couple of places and both said they might have to lift the complete pan roof section at the rear to get the wrap film between the rubbers and the roof. Didn't want mine touching so I decided against it.  You were talking £200 to £250, perhaps more.

i have the estate (combi) no sunroof, i wanted the full matt black roof wrap but im not sure it would be easy with the rails. can they be removed from the inside?

I can't say I'm an expert, but ...

That sounds a bit excessive. Luckily I know someone how does wrapping / graphics for race cars so will be much cheaper than that.

taking it around the weekend to see what they think so shall see.

Let us know how you get on.

Hello Oli. Fancy seeing you on here!

I think you should! I was thinking about this, was quoted £150.

I Need some safety car stickers for the new motor :D

Have a word with Paul! Bit of advertising for incarace! :)

@OliR, don't.

It will look like any other ordinary car with black roof, who pretend having glass roof.
