So...tempted to get strut bar done in red now as I don't think I'll find time to go porsche acid green :( But hey, it sticks with the Superman theme!

Snapped off the old grille surround yesterday which was chrome with matte black plastidip. Fitted the proper black magic grille surround - Easy job!

Really interested in how this sounds once you have fitted. Are you fitting with existing cat back?

I can't decide whether to go stage 1 or 2 as am worried will be too loud and/or drone with the downpipe.

I've currently got a frankenstein system lol - Mid delete and small stainless back boxes.

I'll see how this sounds when fitted Wednesday.

So - Had MOT pass. Service done. Spark plugs changed. Milltek downpipe and sport cat fitted. R600 induction fitted.

Seemed to be driving fine. Next day - Booted it and fluttered lots with EPC fault. - Rebooted and okay - Tried later last night and same again when booting it - EPC light and Engine light.

Limped home with lack of power - Seemed to be misfiring - Sounded like a tractor chugging away.

Mechanic doubts it's the new plugs but will revert back to old plugs and test - If same occurring then will be coil pack hopefully and can replace and be fixed pre weeekend as Elsecar at the Races car show on Sunday!

Definitely sounds like a coil pack, I had the same issue & problem as you! you can replace just the coil pack (single) it's not a problem to do so but I've been told that it is best to change all of them (I didn't) I just had the faulty one changed & so far so good.

Yup, nipped back to mechanic and diagnosed cylinder 1 misfire. Coil pack changed and fixed - lights cleared and finally been able to test the beast with induction and downpipe - sounds great!!!

Now...intercooler? :D

Do paddles flex at all whilst you use them?

Naah - if there it, it's only from the original paddle's attachment internally with a tiny bit of movement and that's exaggerated withthe extender

So decided to work with what I've got before map and address possibilites of FMIC or full 3" system beyond downpipe in the future.

I'm really tempted to change the wheels before summer hits - I like the idea of gun metal but I think Gloss Black would suit so well my styling and I like Pretorias!

The VW Pretorias will look ace (only 18's thou?) or am I wrong? I think a gloss black with a few bits of the alloy in gun metal? maybe a gun metal shade on the full face rim & the inside of the rim gloss black?

Either way, will look sweet & suit well B)
