Just wondering.... My Fabia key, from a 2004 vRS has 3 buttons, open, lock and boot opening. Now I've seen a Fabia remote flip key which looks the same but does not have the boot opening button on it - just lock and unlock. :confused: Can this key be programmed to lock/unlock my car, but obviously forego the remote boot opening....? I need a spare key a.s.a.p as I only got one with my conversion.

Also, can any key cutting place take my ignition key and match the new key to it - for just the cutting side of things?

I have never seen a skoda flip key without the boot button but i don't dispute they exist and I can't see a problem getting it programed for your car, you need to ask a dealer i rekon.
