Felicia Fan Switch

Featured Replies

Hi,

Can anyone point me in the direction of where I can find a fan switch to fit the photographed?

My local garage & GSF/Euro car parts can only provide the switch seen in the 2nd photo.

Also, in need of an oil cap . Anybody have one for sale?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance

For a perfect fit to existing connector you need part number 6U0959481D like in the photo below.

Okay, I can't find this part anywhere! Skodaparts.co.uk don't have any in stock!

Am I able to cut the 2 pin connector out and wire in a connector which fits the 3 pin switch?

Any help/advice is greatly appreciated!

Forget about this plan. A 3-pin fan switch is good only for Diesel Felicia. Here is what many Felicia owners did because they couldn't find 6U0959481D switch.

Crimp two 6.3 mm insulated female blade connectors like below instead of existing VAG connector.

Buy this switch.

Why not try emailing Mike via  [email protected] asking for the 6U0959481D part.

He's very helpful, and gives competitive prices.

It is possible, some people did it, because this switch kicks in earlier, than original. It is double switch for two speed fan, used on diesels and A/C equipped Felicias. But I can't find schematics for connection.

Fan switch sourced from a gentleman breaking on Facebook.

Judging from some threads on here it’s normal for the fan to kick in ~100+°C?

100°C maximum.
