OCTAVIARRGH TDi Chipped

Featured Replies

Heard all about this chipping lark and thought expensive and waste of time then met Simon Coe @ CCCTechnology through work. Told me what he did and that my 110 bhp would get a boost to 143 and have better fuel economy. Me being ever sceptical I had to think about it for a while then decided to go for it.

WHAT A TRANSFORMATION it was like a different car, smoother, faster, quicker off the mark, more torque and better fuel economy, well impressed, now the VWs & AUDIs get a surprise, the back end of an Octavia in front of them !!!

Really noticed how much of an improvement there was to the car when recently I took the chip out and replaced it with the old one when it went for a service. The fuel guage went down quickly and the speedo moved up slowly!

Excellent service all done in a few hours, no need to go to him he'll come to you.

Very helpful, shows you how to change the chip back to the original one (dead easy) and explains how it actually works.

After Sales couldn't be better. My son got his hands on the chip when i took it out and totally wrecked it. I thought that I would have to live with the sluggish diesel guzzling Octavia I thought I'd got rid of or fork out for a new chip. Contacted Simon, within 2 days a new chip arrived on my doormat and he charged me the cost of the chip

Hi Andrew, and welcome to the site!

Like you I'm not too sure about all this chipping lark - however as more and more people report good results I'm starting to get tempted.

There are those (myself included) who would say that I'm dangerous enough already !

Jane,

You know it makes sense

As my dear lady wife would say when struggling to justify a particularly suspect purchase, 'You're losing money not buying one'.

Plus you will officially be a member of the slippery slope secret society. (SSSS). You at the top and Jon (taviaRS) at the bottom.

Oh dear,

Does that mean the engine will explode ?

Jane

Mmmm...

Possibly not the best example...

But then again he's fitting an entirely different engine! The ultimate mod!

sounds a bit like an advert to me.........

Are you known as the Brigadier at home, Rich? :p

Harumph...

sounds a bit like an advert to me.........
It does to me too. Andrew Danby, it would have been more helpful and up-front to say that the chip involved is an UPsolute one, and that CCC Technology is a distributor for that chip. May I ask what your connection is with Simon Coe and with CCC Technology which, as far as I can ascertain, is a Northern Ireland-based company?

Also he says "The fuel guage went down quickly and the speedo moved up slowly!"

nope, its bull*&^%, I know, I got one, no matter how hard you screw it, fuel gauge dont do that, and it aint that slow either! not a quick as a jabba'd one, but still not bad

Congratulations "Andrew Danby"

I think you just ensured that Simon Coe @ CCCTechnology wont get a shred of work from the patrons of THIS board!
