Has anyone had experience of this-

Panda Platinum Internet Security 2005

Currently using Zone Alarm and just wondered how it compared as its being offered in the package i'm considering with a laptop.

Mate has it on his work pc...seems to work ok. Personally, I prefer layers....Nod32 (av) Netveda (free firewall) and SpywareBlaster and SpywareGuard (both free and anti spyware).

I us e ZoneAlarm coupled with AVG antivirus free from www.grisoft.com and a spyware blaster to boot

AVG anti virus, MS antispyware, and the MS firewall along with the one on the router....the good thing is it all works and it's all free

Almost snap as well. I use Zone Alarm firewall, AVG Free antivirus, MS Antispyware, Adaware, Spybot Search & Destroy, along with Spyware Blaster.

Along with CCleaner to keep all the accumulation of rubbish off your system, temp files etc.

Why not spend a few quid and get the whole thing protectd properly with one product. All these seperate programs gobbling up resouces, where as, an integrated package will be far more efficient.

If you have lots of memory and XP (and lots of money) go for Symantec Internet Security 2006. Total peace of mind. The cheaper option which is just as good is F-Secure Internet Sceurity 2006 at about half the price.
