The company building Liverpool's new stand has gone bust. In fact, it was only on Thursday they had managed to clear the abandoned detritus from the site and enabled the match today, to go ahead! Apparently the same company is also working on the Fulham ground. 😞

Another one of our industry facilities companies has gone bust. Televideo

One freelancer owed over £10K and almost every one of their freelancers owed money as they have been stalling on payments for a very long time.

The number of companies in this sector to have gone bust since I went freelance is scary. Especially as there is a huge amount of work out there. It's an industry where the equipment cost are very high and the broadcast rights holders spend a fortune in securing those rights, leaving little money for the actual operation.

CAZOO Group apparently could be about to call in the administrators.

But,

for their subsidiaries CAZOO Holdings, Cazoo Ltd.

'As a result , the subsidiaries are protected from creditors debt enforcement.

Able to operate as normal etc etc.     Others will get to take a hit and as usual there will be plenty getting paid plenty...

Their trade auction side (think it used to be owned by Greenhaus) was decent. My employer sold with them and I've bought some decent stuff off them, it's just a shame their retail side was f'n awful. A lad I used to work with bought quite an expensive car off them and found the car and DPF had been chopped out and a pipe badly welded in.
