mirror repeater

Featured Replies

just noticed the drivers side repeater only lights up at the end do these have bulbs or is it just buy a new insert time?

am assuming you have to dismantle the mirror to change it?

Small LEDs, and yes, you need to dismantle (almost) the entire mirror to gain access to that part:

just looked on you tube what a pain i can 100% see me breaking it, it can wait till summer when the plastics warmer!

If you manage to take out the mirror without breaking it, that you're in the clear, as long as you don't force it and take out all the required screws (I think there are 3-4 pairs of them) ... I've replaced both on my car, and after a month, the replacement also fell down to only a single led light, I don't know who makes those parts and where

Hi, I recently replaced the same in my left hand mirror. Got the part cheap from superskoda (15euro).

The job itself was a right pain in the ass, hidden bolts and fiddly. I ended up breaking a clip as I thought I'd removed all the screws. Having said that, I'd do it again, but take more time!

Here are some photos that I took that might help you!
