Indirect TPMS with MK70 ABS

Featured Replies

Hello Folks,

I've received usefull info and tips here, how to active indirect TPMS on my FL O2. Now it works, thank you all :-) .

So I decided to activate TPMS on my fater's car, since it's a bit similar to a pre FL O2. He has a mk5 Jetta with MK70 ABS pump (no ESP, only ASR and ABS).

So in the ABS coding menu I set the long code to 641 (==Jetta MK5, 7K6 TMPS).

Now the TPMS icon is active, it's blinking. So I went to the Basic setting's 042 group in the ABS menu. According to Rosstech, I should reset the TPMS here. But even if I press the ON/OFF/NEXT button nothing happens. It shows, that the TMPS is enabled, but the Reset status is solid N/A, I can't change it.

Do you have any idea, why, can't I reset the TPMS via VCDS?
